It’s Fringe time!

We’re excited to offer courses where you can learn new skills, build connections, have fun, and participate in the Fringe with a performance. To secure your spot, please pay a $25 deposit and mark the dates in your diary. We’ll provide more information in early January.

We have three options for 2025, including the return of our incredible producer course, where you can assist in production and work alongside Mark as he mentors you through the process. You’re welcome to enrol in one, two, or all three courses.

Course 1: True Crime

Interactive performances in the true crime genre have gained popularity in recent years. This course covers the fundamentals of structure, character development, and concealing clues from the audience. You’ll work towards a show set in an empty warehouse, where the audience can question your alibi—will they identify the killer? We’re eager to teach you these skills!

Course Dates: Weekend of 22nd and 23rd February
9:00 am–2:00 pm both days
Show Dates: 1st and 2nd March

Course 2: Horror Interactive

Our previous horror interactive course was incredibly popular, filled with laughs, screams, and unique scare techniques in a spooky warehouse setting. This time, we’ve developed new methods and tools to create characters that are both unhinged and entertaining.

Course Dates: Weekend of 1st and 2nd March
9:00 am–2:00 pm both days
Show Dates: 8th and 9th March
Cost: $385
Participants: Minimum 8, maximum 16

Course 3: The Producer Course

We’ve offered this course for many years, producing some amazing Adelaide producers. You’ll learn the complete process of staging a production, from start to finish. Additionally, you’ll gain practical experience by assisting Mark in producing a Fringe show, enhancing your CV/credits. Limited spaces are available!

Course Dates: Monday 20th Jan, Monday 27th Jan, Monday 3rd Feb
6:30 pm–9:30 pm
Cost: $300
Participants: Minimum 8, maximum 16
